-Where did the idea for Neo-Pangea come from?
Since I was little
I've had a fascination with aliens and prehistoric earth. Pangea
was the name of the continents a million or so years ago... when
they were all one giant mass... before they split. Neo, meaning
new, represents a sort of "coming together" of sorts. All the masses
working together.... maybe a pipe dream, but it's something at least.
And the logo is a redesign of a famous crop circle found on some
English farm outside Manchester.
-What is Neo-Pangea?
Neo-Pangea
is hope. Hope for a way out of this cataclysmic nine to five hamster
wheel we all have all found ourselves spinning around in. I am tired
of spending five out of seven our precious days a week slaving for
someone else's gain... just so we get our measly two weeks paid
vacation and our two car garage.
It stemmed mainly from the question:
where has our planet gone? A few thousand years ago did our ancestors
think that all the information and knowledge of the entire world
would be at our finger tips, but yet we find our flesh wasting away,
searching for the best free porn site, or wondering how much that
fine pair of Grip Fast boots cost? I am sick of everything I fucking
buy stuck in a plastic bag, inside of a box, covered in cellophane,
and carried in a paper bag. Why is everything so simple so hard?
I created Neo-Pangea to give me and my friends a way to express
our outrage at a world celebrating an Actors 45th birthday on the
front page news, yet war in the middle east... our relatives dying...
only make page 14. Whether we make light of our reality, fight against
it, or play within it I hope we accomplish something. No, everything
we make will not be mind altering or earth shattering... but we
are trying. We work all day to pay the bills then stay up all night
working on new ideas hoping that one day we can live off of our
art. I don't think that is too much to ask?

use to make your films?
Newspaper - Fertilizer (the chemical kind,
GREEN THUMB or ORCHO) - Cotton - Diesel fuel Make a pouch out of
the newspaper and put some fertilizer in it. Then put cotton on
top. Soak the cotton with fuel. Then light and run ... requires
500 empty feet.
